Management Studies


Management means organizing and coordinating the activities. It has three main components Planning, Monitoring, and Controlling.As a social science discipline, it’s studying involves understanding social organizations and organizational leadership.This discipline can be studied in Universities and colleges as Degree or Diploma Course.
At the undergraduate level, the popular course is Bachelor of Commerce. It is generally four years programme with the aim of giving an overview to students about the role of the manager in planning and directing the organization.The other courses including the study of management are Bachelors of Arts with majors in management and Bachelor of Public Administration.This course is aimed at individuals with a career in bureaucracy.
At the graduate level, students with a career as managers and executives have options to specialize in subareas such as human resource, accounting, finance, full-time healthcare management, hotel management.The most popular course at this level is Master of Business Administration(MBA).full-time degree course aimed at educating about management and leadership.
Those who are interested in the research and training can pursue management doctorate. There are two popular courses at this level are Doctor of Business Administration (D.B.A.) and the Ph.D. in business administration or management.
